John was a bachelor from Boughton Monchelsea and Mary a spinster of Linton when they were married at Linton in August 1770.
They subsequently lived in Boughton Monchelsea where they had six children baptized between 1771 and 1782.
I think that John and Mary then moved to East Farleigh; their daughter Mary was married there in 1798 and son James was from Farley parish when baptized at Boughton Monchelsea and of East Farleigh when he was buried there in 1800, but unfortunately the East Farleigh baptism and burial parish registers for 1725-1812 are missing.
