Patchwork and Quilting
I enjoy colour and pattern which is why I started machine piecing a couple of years ago. Iam gradually trying different patterns - but there is a limit as to how many quilts I can find a use for!

Click on any image for details of that quilt in a new window/tab. Sizes are given in inches because many quilting books and most quilting accessories, especially the perspex rulers, are produced for the American market and marked in inches, and I do try to sew quarter inch seams in my piecing.

A sampler quilt made by cutting various sizes of squares and triangles and assembling into blocks.
    64" x 40" |
I'm not good at quilting so this one is tied. I used narrow ribbon ties at the corners of each block.
    92" x 64" |
This was made from a panel of 'Clarice Cliff' motif and a matching all over fabric.
    47"x 47" |
My own design using two different blocks to make an interlaced ribbon pattern.
