Sorry there are few instructions with this pattern which requires about 15 pairs of DMC Cordonnet 100, Sylko 50 or similar.

Start with the handle and work Honiton style rib/ten-stick then change to half stitch for the side of the dish changing to cloth stitch braid with changed worker edges for the inside of the dish.
Start the flame at the top, adding pairs as necessary and divide according to the pattern. Add extra pairs for the inner flame, and work all down to the top of the candle and work cloth stitch with veins as shown.
